UKULELE CLASSES

offers Ukulele
Classes. Register

1) Ukulele
Hawaiian Style with John Signor 10 week session, on
Fridays. February 28 to
May 11, 9-11 a.m.
Singing, dancing and playing ukulele to Hawaiian music. Must
have previous ukulele experience. No class on April 6 and
13th. $4 for members
and $7 for non members or $30/$50 for full 10 week session. Register now. Once this session ends, no
further classes till June.

been cancelled by Kapiolani Community School for Adults. We
apologize for any inconvenience and hope to resume Beginning Ukulele

CONCERT SERIES

Royal Hawaiian Band returns to WCC for a series of concerts on the

in the WCC Auditorium.

great band. These are

honor of St. Patrick’s Day and the Celtic Nations, come hear the
pipes of Hardy
Spoehr
on Friday, March 16, 12:45 p.m. Hardy
is
also the author of “Upoho Uka Nui ‘O Kekokia, Scotland’s
Great Highland Bagpipe.” His
book traces the history of the bagpipes from its introduction into
Hawaii to present day pipers and pipe bands. Also includes accounts
of King Kalakaua’s visit to Scotland. Don’t forget to wear

through the Ewa Beach Board of Water facility and view a water
recycling video.

pants and covered shoes are mandatory. No
high heels or sandals allowed or you will be turned away. No host lunch at Coral Creek
Golf Course. $6 for

U.S. COAST GUARD TOUR &
LUNCH

the US Coast Guard Station at Sand Island. Bus (limited to 45
passengers) will depart WCC at 9am and return by 1:15 p.m. Tour of the U.S. Coast Guard
station at Sand Island.
