New Playground for our Keiki!

After two years of parent fund raising and soliciting grant funders, we’re happy to report Phase I of our Childcare Playground has been installed!  Check out the colorful new play structure and rubber safety padding recently purchased and installed at the Childcare building.  A mini blessing with the parents and students was held on Monday, April 17th, officiated by our own Chaplain Alex McAngus.  The students couldn’t wait to be the first to slide down the slide, climb the poles and crawl through the play areas.

The Childcare Playground is an important extension of the classroom learning environment.  The playground structure has a challenging and colorful climbing structures for large and small motor development.  The new playground structure is designed to enhance the physical, cognitive, social and emotion development.
