Our teachers’ old laptops are on their last leg! They’re so slow that some teachers are using their own phones for video conferencing with parents. Functioning computers are especially important during the COVID-19 crisis since staff are communicating and operating online. New laptops for each classroom would help our teachers connect with families and get the training they need to meet licensing and accreditation requirements.
With kupuna isolated from community due to COVID-19, our Virtual Community Center and Tech Saavy Senior training is opening new worlds for them. Help a senior in need connect with others and access critical resources. This Tech Package helps a kupuna in need go from lonely to connected! It includes:
Demand for our emergency food pantry has increased almost 400% during COVID-19. Many families are struggling with food insecurity for the first time while many who had already struggled are now in even less stable situations. Help feed four (4) people for a week.
Since the panedemic, our kupuna have struggled to meet their basic needs. The Kupuna Care Package helps a senior access food, supplies and critical resources such as medical appointments. It includes the following for two (2) months.
Senior Safe Ride - weekly rides to medical appointments or to get basic needs for those who no longer feel safe on the bus
Food - a bag of nonperishable food delivered once a week
